Volunteer with us

Help create the kind of community people can rely on.

Bring your lived experience, professional skills, interests, or time. We want volunteering to be useful, flexible, and accessible—not another place where people have to mask or overextend themselves.

Ways to contribute

Choose work that fits your strengths and capacity.

Availability changes, and that is okay. Tell us what you enjoy, what access you need, and whether you prefer a one-time project or an ongoing role.

Welcome community members

Help new members find groups, understand community expectations, and feel comfortable participating at their own pace.

Support community care

Help identify content that needs attention and encourage respectful, privacy-conscious conversations.

Review useful resources

Suggest and review local services, accessible guides, events, and practical resources before they are shared more widely.

Help with events

Support online or local gatherings through planning, accessibility notes, welcoming attendees, or follow-up.

Who can volunteer?

Autistic people, family members, caregivers, educators, clinicians, advocates, students, researchers, organizers, and thoughtful allies are welcome to express interest. Specific roles may require additional screening or training.

Our commitment

Access is part of the role—not an exception.

  • Roles can be adapted around communication, sensory, mobility, and scheduling needs.
  • Lived experience is expertise and should be respected accordingly.
  • Volunteers never need to disclose a diagnosis or private health information.
  • Safety, consent, confidentiality, and clear boundaries come before activity targets.
